WHAT IS A “Life COACH”?

A life coach is a partner, accountability, and resource of education to discover what to do with desires and goals and how to move forward. A safe place to process the “who I am” and “who do I want to be.”

OH, SO THIS IS THERAPY?

Not exactly. Coaching is different. Counseling focuses on trauma of the past as a way to move forward in life. The goal of counseling is to heal. Coaching takes a different approach. Coaching believes there is importance in where you came from (obviously, it made you who you are!) but that the main focus should be on the present and moving forward.

HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?

My approach is to identify how you want your life to be. Most people think they know how they want life to look but really, have trouble articulating it. We work to make the goals achievable. We will explore your current reality. Understanding where you are helps us understand how your goals are achievable or manageable. We will work together to brainstorm options of how to get from here to there and identify roadblocks that might come up. Once we put together a good working plan, you then determine the best way to achieve the reality you want and begin to implement what we discussed to make that happen.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE?

I have no way of actually telling you BUT I think our work together should be short-term with check-ins when needed. Most people don’t need a long term, sit on a sofa and tell me all your problems approach. This will work for people who want to improve their lives and are willing to put the time and effort into making that happen!

I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT BUT I CAN'T COME - WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Our cancellation policy is that we require 24 hour notice and that you will be charged 50% of the visit price if you cancel or no show outside of that timeframe at the discretion of your coach.
