Inner Child

This picture goes to a deep place within me. How does it move you? It is a beautiful portrayal of the child within and the heartache of the world that comes as we become adults. Jesus asks us to be like children, innocent, trusting. We miss out on intimate spaces with others because we don't investigate where our heartache first occurred.

Can we have the child like trust and playfulness through the Holy Spirit in relating to others that was the foundation before the hard world intruded into our reality? We are created with the desire to connect and sometimes this takes bravery and vulnerablity, but it is so worth it! I pray today you find your safe space to invite the playful, innocent you to be present and maybe heal the child within to bring them forth to have deeper connection with others. The more we heal, the deeper we love.
